The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 6, 1986, p. 20 James E. West, 82 of Wickenburg, died Jan. 3 at the Wickenburg Community Hospital. He was born June 6, 1903 in Michigan and lived most of his young years in Carson City, Mich. He and his wife, Helen moved to Wickenburg 17 years ago from Kalamazoo, Mich. Survivors include his wife, Helen, of Wickenburg; a son, James F. West, Lansing, Mich. and two daughters, Laurita West of Lansing, Mich., and Diane Obermiller, of Phoenix. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services are pending through the Wickenburg Funeral Home. The family requests contributions be made to favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
