PORTER, Wallace K.

Wallace K. Porter, 93, of 2801 W. Van Buren, who had retired from the Tidewater Oil Co. after 47 years as an oil field pumper, died Monday, July 1, 1974, in St. Luke's Hospital. Services and burial will be in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, where he resided before coming to Phoenix in 1958. A. L. Moore & Sons Mortuary handled arrangements. Survivors include his children, Mrs. R. B. Fox, Mrs. Florence Johnson, Mrs. Dollie Jones, Paul, Earl E and Kenneth Porter; 24 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Published Wednesday, July 3, 1974 in The Arizona Republic.
