The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 3, 1986, p. 10 Stephen Jesse Bennett, 76, died March 29 at his home in Wickenburg. He was born in Vassar, Canada, on April 6, 1909 and lived in Arizona for nine years. He was employed in reserve mining out of Babbitt, Minn. He was a member of the Roseau Lodge No. 268 of Roseau, Minn., and an honorary member of United Steel Workers of America. He is survived by his wife, Esther Alice, of Wickenburg; one brother, Laurel, formerly of Wickenburg, now of Ely, Minn.; one sister, Elaine Harnden, of Fairmont, Minn.; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services are pending and will be conducted in Ely, Minn. Arrangements are being made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
