Minnie C. Lee, 75, of Wickenburg, died May 7 in the Bowell memorial Hospital in Sun City. She was born June 13, 1910 in East Liberty, Ohio.
Lee came to Humbolt from Ohio in 1915. She attended school at St. Joseph's Academy for Girls in Prescott and was married in 1930 to Raymond Lee, who preceded her in death in 1967.
She spent most of her life here in Wickenburg living in New Mexico for a brief time.
She was one of the Wickenburg residents responsible for establishing the Wickenburg Community Action Program office.
She is survived by five sons, Raymond Lee, of Washington, David Lee of Minnesota, Daniel Lee, of Phoenix, John Lee of Wickenburg and James Lee of Phoenix; four daughters, Ruby garner, of Phoenix, Minnie O'Connor, of Sun City, Calif., Kathleen Perry, of Wickenburg and Carol Way, of Morristown; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one sister, Ruby Miller, of Prescott.
Services were at the St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, May 13, with Father Bert Metcalf officiating. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Wickenburg Funeral Home.
