The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 26, 1986, p. 4 Charles Foster Commander Charles Francis Foster, U. S. Navy, 78, of Wickenburg, died June 18 in Boswell Hospital, Sun City. He was born Aug. 20, 1907 in Mayfield, Kan. He has lived in Wickenburg the past five years. Foster retired from the U. S. Navy in 1954 after serving for 30 years. He was a member of the Wickenburg Elks Lodge No. 2160, the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Hassayampa Post. He is survived by his wife, Bernice E. Foster, of Wickenburg; one son, Charles Laurence Foster and two grandchildren, Wade and Roxanne Foster, all of Cary, N. C. Memorial services were June 21 at the Elk's Lodge in Wickenburg. Graveside services, with full military honors, were June 24 at Ft. Rosecrans Cemetery, San Diego, Calif. Arrangements were made by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
