Nancy Elizabeth Leverenz went home to be with her Father in Heaven July 21, 2010, at the age of 79. She was born to Ernest and Agnes (Beatty) Jackson July 14, 1931, in Louisville, Ky.
Nancy married her best friend, Dean Leverenz, 33 years ago and together they made Lake Havasu their home 33 years ago from Fallon, Nev. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother, loyal friend, but above all, was a faithful servant of God.
Nancy leaves behind her beloved husband, Dean, of Kingman; two sons, Michael Wilson, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and William Leverenz, of Kingman; daughters, Barbara Carlson, of Oceanside, Calif., and Donna James, of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; step-daughters, Dee Ann Kirk, Jolyn Sue Irwin and Lee Ora Curtis; sisters, Teenie Beutel and Susie Wilkerson, both of Louisville, Ky.; 16 grandchildren and 21-and-a-half great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Lee; and sister, Betty.
Contributions may be made in Nancy’s name to the Nursing Home Ministry, First Southern Baptist Church in Kingman, or Kingman Regional Medical Center Hospice on Sycamore Street in Kingman.
