Beverly R. Zimmer passed away July 20, 2010, in Lake Havasu City at the age of 87. She was born to Murdock William McLeod and Ruby Rose Morehouse July 10, 1923, in Los Angeles.
Beverly met Eugene Albert Zimmer in Green Valley Lake, Calif. They became husband and wife Aug. 28, 1942. They were married in North Hollywood, Calif., in the Episcopal Church.
Beverly worked at the jet propulsion laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., for an extended period of time. She enjoyed family camping and fishing in the High Sierras and was an avid reader.
Beverly and husband, Gene, raised their two sons in La Canada, Calif.
After retiring, Beverly and Gene spent the next 25 years in Jackson Hole, Wyo., and the past 15 years in Lake Havasu City.
Beverly leaves behind husband, Gene; sons, Bob, of Jackson Hole, Wyo., and Richard and his wife Judi, of La Crescenta, Calif. She also will be dearly missed by her five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for family and friends are pending.
