Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Monday, July 26, 2010 July 9, 1916 — July 12, 2010 Elva Irene “Butch” Noblitt passed away July 12, 2010, at her home in Parker. She was the oldest daughter of Jake and Ethel Jones. Her parents preceded her in death, and also her sisters, Jo and Vida, and her brother, Casey. Her sister, Jerry Jackson, resides in Roseboro, N.C. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lelon Noblitt; daughter, June Rankin; son-in-law, Jay Rankin and daughter in law, Sandra Noblitt. Survivors include her son, Jack Noblitt; and her grandson, Fred Noblitt, both of Parker; and her granddaughter, Barbara Higgins. She is also survived by her great-granddaughter, Joellen Nopah and great-grandson, Eli Rasco, both of Parker; grandson, Lelon Rasco and his wife, Jean; great-great- granddaughter, Kelsey Rasco, of the U.S. Army; grandson, Doyle Kennedy and his wife, Jean; great-great-grandsons, Billy and AJ Kennedy; and great-great-granddaughter, Michelle Gifford, all of Iowa; granddaughter, Deena Ingram and her husband Russell; great-granddaughter, Dandi and her husband, Arturo; great-granddaughter, Laura; and great-grandsons, Joseph and Todd; grandson, John Rasco and his wife Gail; and grandson, John Perry, all from Phoenix. Elva leaves behind a wealth of lifelong friends she made everywhere she went. Every heart she touched became a part of her being. She never turned away anyone and was always ready to help in any way she could. She acquired quite an extended family through her life journey. She will be greatly missed and be fondly remembered by all of us who she left behind to go to her next calling. We know there is where she will be reunited with her loved ones who have preceded her.
