Mrs. Bernice Pappin passed away peacefully in her granddaughter’s arms Tuesday afternoon. She was born in Michigan on Aug. 21, 1914.
She leaves behind her daughter, Loretta White; granddaughter, Jaye Bellomy; great-granddaughter, Shea Ehresman; great-grandson, Trey Bellomy; and two great-great- granddaughters, Neveah and Sierra Ehresman.
Now in the loving embraces of those who preceded her to her new home in Heaven are her parents, sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, husband Mel of 30 years, and grandson, Jimmy White.
Bernice and her family give their heartfelt thank you for everyone’s prayers, to all of her friends and nurses at Prestige Assisted Living and all of the women at New Hope Hospice. The ladies at Prestige and Hospice are truly angels among us.

Interment will take place at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma, Calif., at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Bernice’s name to New Hope Hospice, 500 N. Lake Havasu Ave., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
