The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, July 28, 2010 Barry F. Bays, age 63, passed away July 19 at home in Wickenburg. Barry was born July 21, 1946 in Pliny, W.V., to William E. Bays and Loretta Milton Bays. He graduated from Peoria High School and soon after began working at the Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant. He worked for Blakeley’s Auto and later Joe’s Transmission Shop here in Wickenburg and eventually established B&D Welding and Supplies in Wickenburg, which he operated for years before retiring recently. Barry worked hard all his life, and with his retirement and recent health issues found it difficult to be idle, not always moving at a fast pace. When Barry wasn’t working he enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, boating and gardening. He enjoyed spending time with his good friends and most important with his grandkids. During the last few years Barry had dedicated his life to the Lord and had been attending First Southern Baptist Church. He is survived by Marilyn Bays of Wickenburg; his mother Loretta Rendel of Phoenix; children Bridgette Cisco (Steve) of Phoenix; Daryl Bays (Leah) and Mark Bays both of California; Wayne Sicz (Kim) of Polson, Mont.; Shane Sicz of Bellingham, Wash.; Tammy Sicz of Wickenburg; brother Ralph Bays (Diana) of Indiana; and sisters Debbie Baker (Keith) of Mesa, Ariz.; and Cindy Miller (Rodney) of Florida . Memorial services will be held on Saturday (July 31) at 10 a.m. at First Southern Baptist Church in Wickenburg with a reception to follow at the church.
