SPENCER, Randy Lynn


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/30/2010 Randy Lynn Spencer, 52, of Lakeside died Friday, July 9, 2010, at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low. He was born July 1, 1958, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Clinton and Donna Spencer. Randy was given an award in high school for his architect abilities. He signed up with the US Navy in his last year of high school and served two years on a ship and was honorably discharged in 1979 due to medical reasons. He married Autumn Moore March 20, 1981, and they had 29-½ years of life and love. Trouble came and went with family and good close friends and he was there for his family and friends to help in whatever way he could. His career goals were high and he reached them. He worked mine trucks in Quartzite for Morrison Knudsen. In 1990, he had a job which took him to the Antarctic. He received awards while in the Antarctic with his company, science team and the Navy for over and above duty and firefighting. He was known for his hobbies of building model cars and trucks of all types and sizes and painting autos and trucks. Survivors include his wife Autumn; daughter Amanda "Mandy" Spencer; mother Donna Spencer; sister Tammy Pineau; godson William (Alisa) Cheeves and goddaughter and family; several aunts, uncles, cousins and his adopted daughters and eight grandchildren whom he loved dearly and helped care for. He was preceded in death by his father Clinton Spencer; dad Earl Moore; father-in-law Charles L. Moore and several favorite uncles and aunts. No services are planned at this time.
