GREENE,
John
The White Mountain Independent,
Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/30/2010
John Greene went to be with the Lord July 22, 2010. He was born Nov. 3, 1955, in Boston Mass.
John was a very loving and caring man who will be greatly missed. At the young age of 15, he met Rebecca Marvin, they later married and had three children Rodney, Carolyn, and Elizabeth. John was a very devoted father. He was a hard worker with great values. He moved his family to the White Mountains in 1988. He loved the area and the people. He later went on to become an expert sheet metal fabricator and opened a small business in the area.
He truly enjoyed the Elk's Lodge and what it stood for, as he volunteered often. He was an Elk member for 20 years. Though he and Rebecca divorced, their continuing love for each other was apparent. John was an extremely loving man, everyone who knew him will miss him. He was so kind and willing to help anyone. He was the best father a child could have.
He was preceded in heaven by his mother Carolyn; father William; son Rodney; brothers Joseph and Paul, and nephew Ben.
He leaves behind his daughters Carolyn (Jack) McDonald, Elizabeth (Fred) Mariscal; sister Carole Baker; soul mate Rebecca Greene; grandchildren James, Ryan, Garrett, Heidi, Amber, Haley and Kylee.
Memorial services will be held at the Show Low Elks Lodge Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11 a.m. with a potluck lunch to follow.
Arrangements were under the direction of Black's Mortuary of Show Low.
