MCCALL, Robert Allen


Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ Sunday, August 1, 2010 Robert Allen McCall was called by his Lord to come rest in his presence on Thursday, July 22, 2010, in Kingman. Born a native to Arizona on Dec. 19, 1950, Robert grew up in Scottsdale with his family where he attended and graduated high school. Robert was a "jack of all trades" early in his life, a self-taught handyman that would lead him to a career of becoming a licensed contractor. Robert married Christine Jessup and began a family of his own, having two children, a son and a daughter. Robert enjoyed a very active lifestyle while in the Phoenix area that included boxing, a sport that he held the coveted title of Golden Gloves Champion until he retired from the sport to raise his family. Robert retired from contracting at an early age and settled in the town of Meadview. Once retired, Robert took full advantage of his free time and spent it fishing and camping an time he found the opportunity to do so. Robert was preceded in death by his father Jack McCall, mother Marion McCall, and companion Althea Critz. Robert is survived by his sister, Glenda McCall; daughter, Shauna Waalkens; son, Jack McCall; niece, Aimee Church; grandsons, Johnathan Raymond and Cody Raymond; and sons-in-law, Ronald Raymond and Chuck Waalkens. Robert will always be remembered as a man who loved all his family and friends dearly and enjoyed his time in life to the fullest. All friends and family will be notified of a memorial service.
