The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 17, 1986, p. 4 Andrew John Soakie, 72, of Wickenburg, died July 10 at his home in Wickenburg. He was born Feb. 19, 1914, in Johnston, Pa. He lived in Arizona for 17 years. He is survived by his wife, Hazel M. Soakie, of Wickenburg; two stepsons; Bill Gentry, of Wickenburg and Clarence Gentry, of Missouri; seven step-daughters, Lavendo Hopson, of Michigan, Katty Gordon of Michigan, Vonda Baker, Missouri, Glenda Sisk, of Missouri, Charlene Johnson of Missouri, Verda Butler of Michigan and Kathy Brannon, of New Mexico; 25 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Family arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
