Fred J. English, 88, passed away at his home in Scottsdale, Ariz., Jan. 7, 2006. Born on July 12, 1917, in Kankakee, Ill., he retired from farming twenty years ago and moved to Arizona, living in Prescott and Scottsdale.

Fred is survived by his wife, Sara; son, Joel; daughter-in-law, Cheryl; three grandchildren, Greg, Doug, and Jillian; and two great-grand-daughters, Kayla and Morgan.

Private family services will be held at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale, Ariz.
