She was born in the Panama Canal Zone during the building of the Panama Canal, where her father worked as a paymaster. She moved to Phoenix when she was 12 years old and in 1940, moved to California. She returned to Wickenburg, eight years ago. Graveside services will be at the Wickenburg Cemetery on Friday at 10 a.m. Pastor Robert Goldenberg will officiate the services. Tackitt, of Wickenburg; two sisters; Lois Hodges, of Bisbee and Eleanor Williams, of Pampa, Texas; many nieces and nephews.
