The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 4, 1986, p. 5 Robert W. Hickey, 67, of Yarnell, died Aug. 28 at Grand Canyon Clinic. He was born Feb. 11, 1919, at Walters, Okla. He moved to Mesa from Boulder, Colo. 17 years ago and to Yarnell in 1977. He was a commercial artist for the National Bureau of Standards for many years, retiring in 1969. He served in the U. S. Air Force in World War II. He was a caretaker for the Shrine of St. Joseph's in Yarnell for two years. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine, of Yarnell; one sister, Lola Laney, of Burk Burnett, Texas and Homer, of Wolverton, Okla. Services were Sept. 2 at Genung Memorial Park in Peeples Valley. The Rev. Lynn D. Fredrick and officers of Yarnell American Legion Post No. 79 officiated. Memory Chapel Mortuary in Prescott handled arrangements.
