URQUIDES, Antonio

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 2, 1986, p. 16 Antonio Urquides, 65, of Aguila, died Sept. 28 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1921 in Phoenix. Urquides lived his entire life in Arizona and was a member of the Catholic church. He served with the 186 First Medical Detachment as a technician fifth grade in the U. S. Army from June 1944 through June 1946 and was considered a sharpshooter rifleman. He is survived by his wife, Natividad Urquides, of Aguila; two sons, Rudy and Richard Urquides, of San Pedro, Calif.; three daughters, Jo Ann Baugh, of Lomita, Calif.; Christina Urquides , of Downey, Calif.; and Betty Kelwihwoomahu, of San Pedro, Calif.; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Rosary is Oct. 6 evening at 7 p.m. at Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be Oct. 7 at the Good Shepherd of the Desert Church in Congress at 10 a.m., the Rev. Joseph Bosch officiating. Interment will be in the Congress Cemetery.
