MCELFRESH, Jeannetta Louise

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 30, 1986, p. 12 Jeanetta Louise McElfresh, 74, died Oct. 22 in the Wickenburg Community Hospital. She was born Mar. 17, 1912 in Pennsylvania. McElfresh was a resident of Wickenburg for two years. She was employed as a nurse in Cedars Hospital, Los Angeles and continued her studies in the medical field. While working for her medical degree, she worked in cancer research in California for four years and in Florida for three years. Later she formed her own real estate office in Thousand Palms, Calif., and operated that for 10 years. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Yingst, of Annville, Pa., and Joann Sykes, of Wickenburg; a nephew, Robert Sykes and a nephew, Robert Sykes, a niece, Barbara Sykes, both of Wickenburg and several nieces and nephews, out of state. A private cremation was arranged by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
