The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 30, 1986, p. 12 Leon W. “Lonnie” Gable, Jr., 23, of Wittmann, died Oct. 18 in a trailer fire in Wittmann. Gable was born Dec. 28, 1962, in Glendale. He had been residing in Lubbock, Texas and returned to Arizona three years ago. He is survived by his parents. Leon W. Gable Sr., of Lubbock and Dorothy Gable, of Wittmann; three sisters, Lonnetta Grant, of Peoria, Virginia Moorefield, of Tucson and Evelyn Becker of Sacramento, Calif.; his grandparents, Earl and Mary Smith, of Wittmann and Violet Simpson, of Lubbock; four uncles; four aunts; three nieces; three nephews and 20 cousins. Graveside services were Oct. 21 at Saquaro Janes Cemetery, in Wittmann, Rev. Lee Wallace officiating. Music was provided by Ronald Rose, Buddy Brummett and Bruce Jennings, all of Wittmann.
