MADDOCKS, Floyd Marion


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 4, 1986, p. 17 Floyd Marion Maddocks, 71, of Congress, died Nov. 22 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. He was born dec. 26, 1914, in Smith center, Kan. Maddocks had just relocated to Arizona seven days prior to his death. Maddocks retired in 1982, after 33 years with the Twin Falls Canal Company in Idaho. He was a member of the First United Bretheran Church in Twin Falls, where he served as treasurer for many years. He also served as president of the Men’s Brotherhood for many years in Idaho. He is survived by his wife, Josephine, of Congress; two daughters, Gloria Burley, of Huntington, Ind. and Nona Mae Hanson, of Twin Falls; five grandchildren; three brothers, Clyde Maddocks, of Des Moines, Iowa, Merrill Maddocks, of Pawnee City, Neb.; three sisters, Margarite Prine, of Pawnee City, Neb., Grace Seems, of Smith Center, Kan and Pauline Kitt, of Topeka, Kan.; several nieces and nephews. Services are pending in Idaho. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Idaho. Arrangements were made by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
