Laurie Ann Molina, Our sister – may she rest in peace. She is third sibling out of seven. God told her "Come along with me, there's a place for you in Heaven." 49, of Tucson, passed away July 27, 2010.
She was born September 3, 1960, in Merced, CA, daughter of Chie (Iidaka) Molina and the late Justiniano Molina who passed away in 2000. She graduated from Catalina High School with the class of 1978. Laurie had an avid interest in sports, especially the U of A football and basket ball. She was a true Cat fan. Other important interests included golf and her family.
She was employed by the Pima County Assessor's Office for 30 years. In addition to her mother of Tucson, she leaves three sisters; Linda Bradley, of Vail, Ruby and Cathy, both of Tucson; three brothers, Adam Molina of Phoenix, Augustine (June) of Tucson and James (Michelle) of Marana. She leaves a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9 AM, Saturday, July 31 at Sacred Heart Church, 601 E, Fort Lowell Road.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile on Friday for 5 – 9 PM. A Rosary Service will be held Friday at 7 PM.
Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions made in Laurie's name to the American Cancer Society, 1636 N. Swan Rd, Tucson, AZ 85712.
