SHAFFER, Jack

Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery Tucson, Arizona Jack Shaffer passed away on June 9, 2010 on his 88th birthday. He was born on June 9, 1922 in PawPaw, Oklahoma. Jack was raised in Oklahoma and moved to Arizona in 1949. He was a cotton farmer in Marana for 31 years before retiring in 1983. Jack is survived by his loving wife Jewel of 68 years. Jack and Jewel have two sons, Jim (Sandra) and Don (Elma); three grandchildren, Kim, Christy and Jason and three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Camryn and Austin. Jack is also survived by his brother, Hubert Shaffer of Casa Grande and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him. Services Monday, June 14, 2010, 9:00 AM at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, with Pastor Davide Ferrari of Central City Assembly of God officiating. Interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
