Marie Haussler McKeown expired Aug. 1 at her home in Wittmann of natural causes. Marie was born in Berkeley, Calif., on Oct. 12, 1922. Later she graduated from University of California at Berkeley, Calif., in home economics.

Marie is survived by her sisters Billee Zanker and Jean Knight; her son Gus Haussler of Wickenburg; daughter Kaye Wellman of Cedar City, Utah; as well as six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
 
A mass for her will be held at St. Anthony of Padua’s Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday (Aug. 7).

Marie was predeceased by her son Kenneth R. Haussler (1957-1981) and her ex-husband Kenneth S. Haussler (1922-2000).
