Antonia "Nia" Garland went home to be with the Lord Dec. 30, 2006 in Tucson.
She was born June 13, 1978 in Whiteriver.
Antonia is survived by her husband, Gabriel Rich Garland; daughters, Kisha Rustin, Brianna Rustin; parents, Franklin and Cecelia Lewis; grandmother, Martha Cooley; foster parents, Larry and Bethel Hill from Kansas City; god parents, Mike and Cheryl Minijarez; sisters, Becky Thompson, Katherine Shepard, Lucinda Lewis, Stephanie Lewis, Nancy Lewis; brothers, Anthony Thompson, Jr., Chris Lewis; nephews, Hanson Case, Elliott Zospah, Kyrish Chissay; nieces, Bessie Case, Terrianne Aday, Kaylynn Aday; three uncles; six aunts; and many relatives and friends.
Anthony Thompson, Sr., Nicolas and Rose Thompson, Alona Thompson, Cheryl Lewis and William Cooley, Jr preceded her in death.
Antonia's body will be brought back to Franklin Lewis' residence in Cibecue for a two-night awake Thursday, Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. A home service will be held Saturday, Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. in Cibecue with Pastor Ernie Reed officiating. Interment will be at the Thompson family plot in lower Cibecue.
