POSTERT, Mary Jane

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/12/2007 Mary Jane Postert, 92, died Jan. 7, 2007 at Webb's Assisted Living in Snowflake. She was born July 19, 1914 in Globe to Francis John Thomas and Jane Sowden. Mary Jane was a clerk for St. Johns Drug. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 1986. She loved writing to LDS missionaries and was faithful in writing until she could no longer do so. She loved keeping in touch with her friends, chatting on the phone everyday. Mary Jane took great delight in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her attitude stayed positive until the day she died. Her wit and humor will be greatly missed. She is survived by one son, William "Bill" (JoAnn) Postert; one daughter-in-law, Claudene Postert; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, John Postert; and two sons, John and Fred Postert. A viewing will be held Friday, Jan. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary.
