Marian Pearl Haws Pew, 78, of Mesa died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007. 
     
She was born March 11, 1928 to Glenn and Pearl Haws in South Gate, Calif. She was a fun loving, quick-witted and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She also spent 18 years as a dedicated schoolteacher in the Gilbert and Florence school districts.
      
Marian is survived by her husband of 61 years, George L. Pew; children, Karl (Gloria), Marilyn Workman (Wade), Leo (Penny), Teri Rothlisberger (John) and Kari White (John); brothers, George Haws (Judy) and Dean Haws (Judy); 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.       

Marian was preceded in death by daughter, Georgia Gayle Pew.
      
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1500 E. 6th Ave in Mesa with a visitation from 9-9:30 a.m., prior to the services at the church. 

Also, a viewing was be held at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald in Mesa Jan. 11.
