MYARS, Sampson C., Jr.

Myars, Jr., 84, of Heber, and formerly of Bargersville and Franklin, Ind. and Phoenix died peacefully Jan. 6, 2007 in Show Low. Sampson was a veteran of WWII, serving in the India/China Theater. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erlinda; grandson, Nicholas; and great-granddaughter, Destenye. Devoted father of Anthony "Tony" Myars (Darla) of Surprise, Brenda Van Deusen (Rick) of Heber, Rhonda Peterson of Phoenix, and Tisha Tover (Henry) of Glendale. Caring brother to Eva Glidden of Franklin, Ind. Cherished grandfather of Casey (Nicolas), Richard, Bianca, Justin, Wrenetta, Eric, Henry and Aaron; great-grandfather of Larry, Halle and Maddison. Services will be held at the LDS Chapel in Heber and will conclude at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor.
