Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, August 4, 2010 Carmen Marie Eldredge, 93, passed away on July 25, 2010, at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. She was born on March 18, 1917, in Mexico to Jose and Selicitaz Villarreal. Carmen loved cooking, watching the Diamondbacks on TV and eating out at new places with her good friends, Lori and Mike Riddle. Moving to Lake Havasu City four years ago gave Carmen the chance to be near her sons and experience the mild winters that are enjoyed in Havasu. She moved to Lake Havasu City from San Jose, Calif., where she resided for 50 years. She will be deeply missed by her friends and children. Carmen is survived by her sons, Robert and Ralph Eldredge; several sisters in California; grandson, Mark Eldredge, of Ohio; granddaughter, Heidi Eldredge, of Michigan; and several great-grandchildren in Ohio and Michigan. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Wayne Eldredge, who passed away last year in Long Beach, Calif. Memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will take place in San Jose, Calif.
