WITT, Nellie Mae

Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ Thursday, August 5, 2010 Nellie Mae Witt was surrounded by angels in the form of nurses and family as she embraced eternal life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 28, 2010. She is now looking over her husband of 44 memorable years, Don Witt. Under her umbrella of love, she is also watching over her children, Donny Witt, Sandra Darling, Terri Beach, Donna Mariman, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Don and Nellie started their new life in Kingman in 1984, coming from Wheatland, Wyo. They joined Grace Lutheran Church and stayed active to this day, never missing an opportunity to spread the love of Christ or help someone in need. Nellie loved being a part of the Grace Lutheran Church Women's group. Nellie exhibited her angelic personality while she cared for many patients as a registered nurse for 40 years, sharing 15 of those years with Kingman Regional Medical Center's Emergency Department. Everyone who knew Nellie knew she was an amazing woman of faith and inspired others with her actions. Being a respected member of the medical community, a Boy Scout den mother, a wife, a mother, an aunt, a sister, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, and many other titles she has gained in this life were all stepping stones that prepared her for the greatest title: An angel of God.
