The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/19/2007 Jerome W. Elsey, 65, of Lakeside died Jan. 3, 2007 at his home. Jerry as he was known by family and friends was born in San Diego, Calif. Nov. 14, 1941. He went to college in Illinois and worked his entire life as a manufacturing engineer in the Aerospace Industry alongside such notable companies as Boeing, Teledyne Aero-Cal, McDonnell Douglas, Lockheed and Northrop. Jerry married Nancy Johnson and began a family. After their divorce, he lived with and cared for his mother and step father in El Cajon, Calif., who both preceded him in death. After their passing he moved to Lakeside. Mr. Elsey is survived by his three children, David Elsey of Philadelphia, Miss.; Becky Renko of Lakeside, and Kristine McMillan of Philadelphia, Miss.. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Sara, Brett, Ashleigh, Eric, Erin, Damian and Kaelynn. Services were held January 15, 2007 in Philadelphia, Miss.
