FRANKLIN, Scott (Rev. Dr.)

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Sunday, August 8, 2010 The Rev. Dr. Scott Franklin, 90, of Flagstaff died on August 6, 2010, at the Flagstaff Medical Center. He was born on June 11, 1920, at Castle Butte to Hosteen Bagashey Begay and Sadie W. Franklin. His maternal clan is Towering House and his paternal is of the Salt clan. Mr. Franklin had been in northern Arizona all of his life and he has been a respected minister to the Navajo people in Flagstaff for many years. Mr. Franklin is survived by his loving wife, Amy Franklin; daughter Lillian Arthur; sons Bill Franklin and Robert Franklin Carl Franklin; sisters Ada Little and Rosie Ben; brother Tom Franklin; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Gordon Franklin and Kee Franklin; sister Ida Franklin; and two great-grandchildren, Sharlynn and Adian Arthur. At this time, services are pending.
