Esther Val Brewer Hall, 85, beloved mother and grandmother died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007 in Mesa.
She was born in Pinedale Feb. 21, 1921. She married Harrison P. Hall in 1939 and made their home in Show Low, she was the librarian there for over twenty years, but her true passion was her family. She was well-known for baking the best homemade bread, as well as Christmas fudge and the best pie crust ever.
She was an avid baseball and basketball fan and loved to talk politics. Esther enjoyed running the Mogollon rim with her dog well into her 70's.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison, and her son, Michael Brewer.
She is survived by five of her six children, Harry Lynn (Geraldine) of Mesa, Judy Val (Morris) Wright of Mesa, Brian Christopher (Twilla) of Snowflake, Anne Michelle (Royd) Rauch of Boise, ID and William Brett of Blackfoot, Idaho; daughter-in-law, Lucy (Jeffry) Frost of Glendale; 25 grand-children and 50 great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her and deeply mourn her passing; our loss is certainly Heaven's gain.
