JOBST, Katherine B. (Kathy)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, July 18, 2010 Katherine "Kathy" B. Jobst died July 15, 2010, in Prescott, Ariz., at the age of 65. Kathy was born Jan. 12, 1945, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of late Frances and Ellinor Brown. Kathy was an active member of Amaranth Canyon Court #18 of Prescott, and Sun City, Ariz., American Legion Auxiliary Post 78, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority of Phoenix, Ariz. Kathy loved country western dancing. She loved going to dance competitions and also watching her grandchildren dance. Kathy is survived by her husband of 25 years, Robert Jobst Sr.; stepsons Robert (Sheila) Jobst Jr. of Tacoma, Wash., and Gary (Csilla Madocsai) Jobst of Little Rock, Ark.; and stepdaughter, Christin (Adam) Overton of Seattle, Wash. Survivors also include her brother Tonner Brown of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; and her four grandchildren, Nathan, Allie, Michael and Brandon. A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Kathy's life will be from 1 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel, 8480 E. Valley, Road, Prescott Valley, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy's name may be made to the Order of the Amaranth, 3140 Cedar Lane, Prescott, AZ 86301, to aid in their children's diabetes association.
