Robert G. Morrow Sr., age 97, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2010,
in Prescott, Ariz. Bob was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on March 14,
1913, and grew up in the then-rural L.A. He married Vivian L. Godfrey
in 1937, and they had three children before moving to Morenci, Ariz.,
in 1947.
Bob and Vivian moved to Prescott in 1978, where they enjoyed an active
retirement, and traveled throughout the U.S., Canada, Great Britain and
Europe.
Bob was preceded in death last year by Vivian, his wife of nearly 72
years. He is survived by their three children, son Robert Jr. (wife
Susan); daughters Patricia McFadden and Susan Mueller (husband Walter);
nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-
granddaughter.
A memorial service and internment will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010,
at Trinity Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests
donations in his memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation or to Trinity
Presbyterian Church, Prescott.
