Ruth Fry Morris, age 94, passed away on July 16, 2010 in Prescott Valley, Ariz. She was born on March 19, 1916 in Douglas, Ariz. to Samuel and Mary (Fry) Hayhurst. 

Ruth graduated from ASU with her teaching degree. She made a career of teaching, primarily 2nd grade children until her retirement Sept. 1, 1982 from the Clark County School District.

Ruth is predeceased by her husband, Curtis Lee Morris; daughter, Carolyn Lee Excell; grandson, Darrell Lee Excell; and great granddaughter, Kelly Lynn Excell. She is survived by her son-in-law, Terrill Don Excell; three grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

A Graveside service for Ruth will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Heritage Memorial Park in Dewey, Ariz. 

Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
