HEAD, Terry Royden

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, July 21, 2010 Terry Head, devoted father, proud grandfather and loving husband, passed into glory on July 18, 2010. Terry was born March 9, 1947, to Wilbur Head and Rosemary (Pryor) in Salt Lake City, Utah. Terry was a graduate of Willcox High School, an Army veteran of Vietnam, and proud graduate of ASU. He wed Charleen (Segerstrom) on April 26, 1969. Terry loved teaching. He served the community of Mayer, Ariz., as a teacher, principal and coach. Upon moving from Mayer, he joined the staff of Northwest Community Schools. Terry was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother Michael. He is survived by his brother Larry (Sandy); niece Tammy; and nephew Derek; stepfather John McCollough; loving wife Charleen; daughter Chandra (Sky) Conwell; son Troy (Linda) Head; son Travis (Lauren) Head; and daughter Tiana (Brian) Quinn. Braden, Kylie, Micha, J.T., Justus, Christian, Trevor and Caleb will all miss their grandpa. Family request donations to Dysart Community Center in El Mirage, (623-583-0016), to benefit adult education GED programs. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2010, with a visitation one hour prior at Apollo Baptist Church, 11611 N. 51st Ave, Glendale, Ariz. Information provided by survivors.
