Bonnie K. Aira of Prescott, Ariz., passed away on July 20, 2010, at the age of 70. She was born May 7, 1940, in Keystone, Iowa, to Lester and Caroline Selk.
Bonnie is survived by her two children, Michael (Patia) O'Connor of Portales, N.M., and Laurie (Johnny) Heatwole of Prescott, Ariz.; and four grandchildren, Casey, Tearney, and Bailey O'Connor and Dylan (Heatwole) Martin. She is also survived by her brother Bud (Pam) Selk of Davenport, Iowa, and Brenda (Dave) Costigan of Wheatland, Wyo.
She will forever be missed by her family and friends and will be remembered as the most loving and giving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her passion for art and her talent in painting was an inspiration to all.
Viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. and services will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez, Prescott. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Henry Aira, in the Southern Nevada Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nev.
