The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, July 24, 2010 The Rev. Rosemerrie Christie, 61, of Sedona, Ariz., made her transition on July 22, 2010. She was born in Gainesville, Mo., on Nov. 3, 1948, and graduated from Bennington (Vt.) High School in 1966. Her educational background was in psychology and journalism. She was an Inter-Faith Minister for 20 years as well as a licensed fiduciary. Her life passion was the search for spiritual and philosophical truth; she was a student of numerology for most of her life and provided spiritual guidance and counsel to many. Beloved sister of Russell (Rosemary) Christie of Huntington, Vt., Christopher Christie of Centralia, Wash., and Carol (Anthony) Wigger of Pownal, Vt. She is also survived by her partner of 10 years, Ellen Abelein of Sedona; aunts; cousins; and many adored nieces and nephews, plus a large extended family spread throughout the United States. She is predeceased by her parents, Mary A. Ives and Russell V. Christie. A private celebration of her life by family and friends will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2010, at 220 Castle Rock Road, in the VOC.
