Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ Sunday, August 8, 2010 Wayne Donald Williams, 80, of Kingman joined our Lord on Sunday, July 18, 2010, at the hospital with his wife by his side. The last book that he heard is, "The Wonder of His Love, A Journey Into the Heart of God." He was born Feb. 12, 1930, in Millboro, S.D., and resided in Kingman for 11 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a lab technician by profession and also got a Bachelor of Arts in Mexican-American History while working in Los Angeles County Jail. He retired as a laboratory technician in a privately owned laboratory in El Monte, Calif. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to read books, novels and the newspaper with his coffee. He liked planting roses and a vegetable garden; he had a green thumb. He liked to watch good movies but most of all, westerns and cartoons. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie, who has been by his side for 17 years, and their children, Kayla and Kayne. He is also survived by two grown children from his previous marriage, Byron and Corrie of California. To all medical staff members of the Veterans Affairs for all your care and support, Wayne's family says, "Thank You."
