Charles R. Marble, 74, went to his rest Jan. 31, 2007 in Mesa.
He was born April 9, 1932 in Cleeves, Ohio. Charlie has lived in Rising Sun, Ind., Tucson and Lakeside. He retired from Navopache Electric Co-op, where he was employed for 23 years. Charlie loved hunting, fishing and the UofA Wildcats. He was very artistic and enjoyed woodcarving. Most of all, Charlie loved his wife, Eloise (Ashe) of 54 years.
He is survived by his wife; and children, Cynthia Marble, Nancy Heard (Kim), Patricia Beaupre (Randy), and Mark Marble. He is also survived by his three siblings, Jean McCray, Shirley Shumaker, and Will Marble; grandchildren, D.L. (Jenn), Nicole (Nicholas), Carrie (Richard), Beau, Cody, Kassandra, Cristina, Casey Michael, and great-grandson, Michael Andrew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. Marble, Sr., and Ava M. Marble; and his brother, John W. Marble, Jr.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 5 at Bunker Family University Chapel, 3529 E. University Drive in Mesa. A reception followed at Read Hall, Dreamland Villa Community Club. Burial services will be held privately at a later date.
