MCCORMICK, Kenneth Neil

Hansen Mortuary, Phoenix, Arizona Kenneth Neil McCormick ,72. passed away on June 25, 2010 at his home in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on June 1, 1938 in Brookfield, Illinois to Martin and Caroline McCormick. He has lived in Arizona for over 22 years. He was a veteran of the United States Airforce. He was a pathologist and worked for Cigna for many years and then Sonora Quest and later Labcor. His desire to become a pathologist was spurred by the loss of his father to cancer. His great passion was gardening and his garden is still full of vegetables and healthy flowers. He was a long time member of St. Pauls Parish in Phoenix. He not only preached God’s word… He lived by it. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 45 years Colette. Sons; Patrick, Terry “Boo” and his wife Elizabeth, Tim and his wife Luz, daughters; Melissa Arnone and her husband Joseph, Marisa and Nicole McCormick, brothers; Richard and Marty and sister Nancy and 6 grandchildren; Ashley Lynn, Mary, Allie, Ivan, Erin and Kaley. Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, 10:00 am at St. Pauls Catholic Church 330 W. Coral Gables Phoenix, AZ.
