Copper Basin News Hayden, Az. - 08/12/2010 Helen June Fluharty passed away, August 7, 2010 in Riverside, Arizona. Helen was born in Calhoun County, West Virginia, July 2, 1927. She and her husband moved to Superior, Arizona in 1954. Later they moved to Ray, Arizona. When the town of Ray was consumed by the mine the family relocated to Dudleyville. Helen was an active church member. She worked for the Ray Mines Division for 35 years. Surviving are her children, Philip (Judy), Mark (Sheryl), Sarah, Susan, and Jim; her grandchildren, Windy (Brian) Messing, Cliff (Wendy) Holland, Amy (Chris) Bussing, Holly (Kenneth) Acuna, Ed (Janelle) Johnson, John Johnson; 20 great grandchildren; one brother, Mike (Sherry) Ferrell; and one sister, Pat (Bud) Godfrey. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Fluharty and grandson, Jason Odom. Services will be held at the Lighthouse Assembly of God, Highway 77, Winkelman, on Saturday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m. The viewing is at 10 a.m.
