Conception Rita Ramirez (Connie), 78 of Coolidge, Arizona died surrounded by the warmth and love of her family and friends on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010 at Hospice of the Valley in Mesa Arizona.
Connie was born May 18, 1932 in Presidio, Texas and grew up in Miami, Arizona, the daughter of Pete and Rosa Aguilar, the oldest of eight siblings.
After retiring from Sears in Los Angeles, Connie and George moved from Whittier, California and returned to Globe to enjoy their retirement. They later relocated to Coolidge Arizona. Her house was home to many, many friends and family members. She loved having company and especially loved cooking for everyone. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt and great, great-aunt and will be truely missed by all.
Connie is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 60 years, George; her family, Patrica Minton, Michael and Rebecca Ramirez, Catherin and Bryan Enslin; grandchildren Marylisa, Michael, Jason, Carrie and great-grandchild Nathan.
Connie was preceded in death by her son, John, in 1985.
A memorial service is pending for later this month or next month and will be held at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Miami, Arizona.
