DAMEWOOD, Orvie Harold

Orvie Harold Damewood 82, went to be with Jesus, Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 4:46 in the afternoon. The son, of Donald and Daisy Damewood, he was born in Ava, MO. November 19, 1927. He married Daisy Kathryn McLain, October 11, 1947. His children are Donna (Lyale) Pacheco, David (Shelly) Damewood, Brenda (Jon) Sullivan, Denny Damewood his son preceded in death in 1994. He has five grandsons, Stephen, Jeremy, Derek, Justin and Seth; one sister, Mildred Quy, Springfield, MO. Orvie's life was for his family and his church. He was a Royal Ranger Commander for 20 years. Love to fish and be in the great outdoors, said he never felt closer to God than looking at the stars and seeing the beauty of God. He was a good father and husband and will be missed so very much. Service will be held Friday, August 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Flowing Wells Assembly of God. 3198 N. Flowing Wells, Tucson, AZ 85705. Interment to follow at SOUTH LAWN CEMETERY, 5401 South Park Avenue
