Florence Bulza was born April 2, 1916, in Gary, Ind., to George and Catita Luecuta. She passed away in Lake Havasu City Aug. 10, 2010, at the age of 94. Florence attended and graduated from Froebel High School at the age of 16. She married the love of her life, Floyd, in 1934, and had a beautiful relationship for more than 60 years. Theirs was truly a marriage made in heaven. After Floyd’s death, Florence moved to Lake Havasu City and resided there until the Lord took her home.
Florence was a loving wife, devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
Those who knew her will truly miss her smile and sense of humor. She devoted her life to her husband and family.
She was a member of the Romanian Baptist Church, Brunswick Baptist and Hillcrest Baptist Church. In her younger years, she was very active in church work. She and her husband entertained and sponsored numerous immigrants from Romania, treating them like family. No one ever left her home without being served dessert and coffee. She was known for her cooking and baking, especially her pies. She also enjoyed reading, which became her greatest joy.
