The Arizona Republic 12 Oct 1972 MESA - Mrs. Hattie McAvelia, 75, who came here 21 years ago from her native Hammond, Ind., died yesterday in her, home, 25 S. Lazona. Survivors include her husband, Joseph; and a brother,William Wahl of Mesa. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Larry J. Melcher Mortuary, 43 S. Stapley. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
