Shirley Mae Lienhart, of Rimrock, passed away August 6, 2010.
Shirley was born in Chicago, Illinois July 19, 1932 and graduated from Proviso High School in 1950, along with her life long friend, Marge Warfield, who survives her.
She and her husband Bob Lienhart moved to Arizona City in 1964, then to Sedona in 1978.
She has resided in Rimrock for the last eleven years.
Shirley retired from Oak Creek Ranch School after 27 years as the head book keeper and front office manager for the Wick family business.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and her parents George and Daisy Kachmar. She is survived by her children, Tom (Carrie) Lienhart, of Goodyear, David (Susie) Lienhart, of Rimrock, and Tracy Jacobsen, of Rimrock. Shirley’s main passion was her family; she had eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, plus a baby girl due soon.
Family gatherings were her favorite events, be it holidays, birthdays, or casual visits. She was thrilled by a surprise birthday party just a few weeks ago. She was one of the world’s sweetest ladies, with a kind heart and gentle nature. Heaven is an even better place now that Shirley has joined her Lord there.
Please make memorial donations to The Foundation at VVMC, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, AZ 86326.
