Carl Eugene 'Corky' Fisher
Corky Fisher left this life Nov. 29, 2006, at RTA Hospice in Lakeside.
His battle this last year with liver problems took their toll on his body, but not on his spirit. He will be missed forever.
He was born in Pueblo, Colo., Feb. 23, 1954. His family became Show Low residents in the late 60s. He was a kind, caring and loving man who helped everyone he could. He was the type of man you were blessed to know. His family and numerous friends meant everything to him. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a member of the White Mountain MMA. He was happiest camping or barbecuing with his family, or being in the wind with his "brothers" by his side.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Maria; by his three sons; Leo (Jen) Times, Howard (Meisha) Fisher, and Charles Fisher; grandchildren, Leo Jr., Abby and Howard Eugene. He is also survived by his sister, Della; brothers, Jack, Chuck and Al, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled the arrangements.
