The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 27, 2007 Betty Lois "Chapman" Stockton, 75, died Feb. 18, 2007. Betty was born Feb. 24, 1931 to Edgar Louis and Myrtle Ruth Chapman. She married Elmer Farrell Stockton Nov. 30, 1947. She loved camping, fishing and gardening, and most of all her six children. She is survived by her six children, Sandy (Doris) Stockton, Susan (Ed) Crugar, Steve (Debbie) Stockton, Doug (Leslie) Stockton, Rick (Elaina) Stockton, Cindi (Randy) Porter; 24 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ruth Chapman; sister, Barbara Carter; and husband of 59 years, Farrell Stockton Farrell. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at the Valley View Baptist Church.
